The Story Behind the CASUAL SUNDAY Stole
It started with a box of old blue jeans too worn out to wear. When I asked God if he had any bright ideas, this pastor’s stole was created. Amazing things happen when we turn to the Lord in prayer.
Blue jeans and we have a lot in common. Each, in our own time and our own way, lose our luster of newness, fall apart at the seams, incur a stain here or a tear there, and eventually just plain wear out.
Yet, when we turn our tattered and worn out lives over to Christ, He washes us clean, covers our stains, trims away at our frays, and makes us into something new and beautiful.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
-2 Corinthians 5:17
